Are you looking for something unique and delicious to serve at your next private party? Look no further than the newest concept from Food Truck Avenue, The Strawberry Shortcake. As we’ve gotten more into catering private parties, we’ve had a lot of inquiries about our dessert offerings. That’s why we decided to create a new concept, one that goes beyond cookies and fried desserts. The Strawberry Shortcake offers a dessert that isn’t syrupy sweet (we use fresh fruit) and allows our customers to create their perfect treat. We wanted to create something chef-driven and customizable, so we offered various options, such as bananas and pineapples.
Our owner David also gushed about how everyone was overjoyed when his mom made strawberry shortcakes! He hopes this new concept will bring others the same love and sweetness his mother instilled in him the same love and sweetness found in strawberry shortcakes. As you can see, this concept comes from a personal and customer-focused place, which is the perfect combination!
The Strawberry Shortcake brings the family into its branding as well. Speaking about his daughter Avery and her impact on the business’ ethos, David said, “She’s bubbly, she’s expressive, and she’s fearless. When I think of what I want this concept to be, I want it to bring the light, joy, and laughter that my little Avery brings to me. That is why little miss strawberry shortcake is a cartoonized picture of my daughter Avery.”
Now, let’s get into the shortcakes themselves. Guests can choose from three cake bases: Shortcake, Sponge Cake, or Pound Cake. Then they can select their favorite cream: Ice Cream, Chocolate Cream, or Whipped Cream. To top it off, there are various additional options, like Strawberries, Bananas, Peaches, Oreos, Reese’s, and more! For those wanting something to wash your cake down with, we also offer floats in Root Beer, Orange Dream, Strawberry, Just What the Doctor Ordered (Dr. Pepper), Avalanche (Mountain Dew), Coke, and Sprite. With so many options, you can have a unique experience every time! Go for a strawberry float for a fun take on a strawberry shortcake or a peaches and cream-style cake if you’re feeling peachy.
This will be our first time offering dessert, and we feel good about it. Now, we are indeed a one-stop shop. The strawberry shortcake is a classic and classy dessert that satisfies the sweet tooth without the sugar rush.
