Before You Book

Questions Before Your Event?

Here's what hosts ask us most, straight from the team that runs the trucks.

Booking

How do I book you?

Booking happens entirely online. That said, we're glad to talk through any questions you have about our service by phone. Please note that quotes are handled by email only and can't be provided over the phone.

How do I check if my date is available?

Fill out the form on our website to check availability. We work with multiple trucks and cuisines, so don't hesitate to reach out β€” chances are we've got something that fits your date.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

All cancellation and reschedule policies can be found in our booking terms linked in the footer of our website. You'll also get a copy with your catering agreement when you book.

Can the serving time change after I book?

Sometimes, and sometimes not. Once we've booked your event, we make commitments to other parties based on our commitment to you. If a proposed change to your serving time would conflict with another commitment we made on the strength of our original booking with you, we won't be able to accommodate the change.

How far in advance should I book?

For the best availability, we recommend booking 4-8 weeks out. That said, rush bookings and week-of requests are typically available if you're in a pinch. In those cases, we may need to go with your backup preferences if your first choice is already taken.

Can I check availability before I know every detail?

It's hard for us to confirm availability until we know the location and time. Without a set location, checking availability is like throwing darts at a wall.

What are your payment terms?

Payment terms are dictated by your catering agreement. They are also found in the booking terms in the footer of our website.

What information do you need to give me a quote?

To get you an accurate quote, we'll need a few key details: the date, time, address, and guest count for your event.

Pricing & terms

What happens to my price if the event changes?

We can update your event details, but confirmed guest counts can't be lowered once set. If any approved changes affect the price, you'll see that reflected in a revised quote.

What affects the price of my event?

Pricing comes down to a handful of key details: your date, service time, guest count, and event address.

Is gratuity included or expected?

Gratuity is not included or added automatically. Tipping is optional, and any cash or card tip goes directly to the crew serving your event.

Are there any fees I should know about up front?

Your written quote shows all charges before you book, including any travel, taxes, or booking fees. We do not add fees after you accept the quote unless your event changes and you approve a revised price.

Is there a minimum spend?

Most events have a minimum based on the date, location, guest count, and service time. We will confirm your minimum in writing before you book.

Do you offer fixed per-person pricing?

Sometimes. Pricing may be per person, package-based, or subject to a minimum depending on the event. Your quote will clearly show how your price is structured.

What is included in the quote you send me?

Every quote includes food service for the quoted guest count, along with the plates, utensils, and serving supplies that come with your selected service.

How is your pricing structured?

Every event is quoted individually based on the menu, guest count, service time, and location. Your accepted quote is your price unless you approve a later revision.

Are there travel fees, and how far will you travel?

Travel fees may apply based on where our serving team is coming from. If there is a travel charge, it will be listed on your quote before you book. Service range varies by date and location.

How do you work out travel costs?

Travel costs come down to two things: where the serving truck is based and how far it needs to travel to reach your event. We operate out of many major metro areas, and when availability allows, we can travel beyond those areas too.

Food

Can the menu be adjusted for our event?

Yes, the menu can absolutely be adjusted to fit your event. Our standard menus are our most popular options, built to be approachable and work well for a crowd. That said, if you already know exactly what you'd like to serve, just let us know and we'll put together a quote based on that instead.

How is your food actually cooked?

Our food is prepared between the commissary and our catering teams, cooked in small batches β€” the same way we'd cook for our own family.

Do you have kid-friendly options?

Yes, kid-friendly options are absolutely something we can plan for. The key is letting us know ahead of time what you have in mind β€” since kids' tastes can be particular, it helps to tell us what your kids like so we can make sure it's covered. Every kid is different, and we're happy to work with that to make them happy.

What do you refuse to compromise on?

Quality and responsiveness β€” these are non-negotiable for us. Clear communication is what gives you confidence that we understand your vision and how to execute it. And the food itself is what keeps your event running smoothly.

What do guests notice most about your food?

Passion and love. Our teams don't cook because they "can" β€” they cook because they want to.

What sides and drinks come with it?

Each menu comes with its own set of side options, and we're happy to make adjustments where needed. As for drinks, we offer an assortment of soda and water, which can vary by region.

What do you serve?

We cater events of all kinds, all over. Most of what we do is private parties, but we work public events as well β€” every event, private or public, has a required sales minimum based on our inputs.

Dietary

How do you handle food allergies?

We are very sensitive to guest needs. We put the upmost care into accommodating, but we only know the dietary restrictions you tell us up front. If there are severe allergies or needs please let our team know up front.

Do you offer gluten-friendly options?

We absolutely do!

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We can accommodate for almost any situation as long as we know up front. Surprises on site don't usually go well for our team or your guests.

Do you offer a vegetarian option?

Yes β€” every menu includes a vegetarian option. You're welcome to build your own menu selections, but based on our experience running events, we strongly recommend keeping at least one vegetarian option in place, as it's one of the most common dietary needs we see among guests.

Service & the day

How early do you arrive before service starts?

Our teams arrive 30-60 minutes before service is set to begin. We build in this range because traffic can be unpredictable, and we'd rather give ourselves the buffer to be set up and ready when your guests are.

How do you communicate with hosts before and during the event?

Communication is something we take seriously, both before and on the day of your event. In the 24-48 hours leading up to your party, we'll email you the day-of contact information for the truck team, so you have a direct line to the crew handling your event. We also send an automated email prior to the event to confirm there haven't been any changes to your party details, so everyone's working from the same plan. On the day itself, when our team arrives on-site, they'll call the host to let you know they've arrived and to be shown where to park. It's all part of making sure the setup goes smoothly and there are no surprises for you or your guests.

How long does service take for a larger event?

Typically, we can serve 60-80 guests per hour, though this depends on how streamlined your menu is and what your vision is for the event. For larger events, we recommend bringing in some of our other partner trucks to help speed up service.

What happens to leftover food?

We're happy to handle leftovers either way. Our team can take any extra food with us and dispose of it, or the host is welcome to keep it. If you'd like to take the leftovers, just give us a heads-up 15 minutes prior to service so we have time to bundle everything up and stay on schedule for our next catering.

How does the serving line actually move?

Every event has its own rhythm, so timing can vary. The real bottleneck at the window is communication β€” walking guests through the menu and answering questions as they order. Our goal is always to get food out fast, but our speed at the window is only as fast as your guests are at ordering. The good news: if guests already know the menu before they step up, service moves noticeably faster.

What do you do when the line gets long?

When the line gets long, we keep working. We shift into batch cooking so we can get 2-3 orders moving at once, cooking to the back of the line β€” meaning we keep a few orders of each option ready at all times so that once something's ordered, it can go straight out the window. With the line long, nothing goes stale or sits; it all goes out within a minute or two, and we're continuously cooking to replace the backstock so we can keep it moving.

What does setup look like on event day?

On event day, our team typically arrives 30–60 minutes before service, depending on traffic. Since most of our prep work is handled ahead of time, we're able to open the window right on schedule and get straight into serving. Once the agreed time frame wraps upβ€”or all guests have been servedβ€”we pack up the truck quietly and head out, leaving your event running smoothly.

Do you provide plates, napkins, and utensils?

Yes β€” we provide all cutlery and disposables needed so guests can enjoy their meal. We don't provide extra supplies for items we aren't bringing.

What happens at the end of service?

At the end of service, we thank the host, pack up the truck, and head out.

Site & logistics

What if my venue has tight or unusual access?

If your venue has tight or unusual access, we'll work with you to find the right spot for parking and service. We can provide you with the truck's sizes ahead of time so you can confirm the fit β€” as a good rule of thumb, plan for 40ftx10ftx12ft tall of available space, with upwards of 50 ft needed to maneuver a trailer in. Worst case scenario, we simply park where nothing gets damaged and set up a little farther away β€” but everyone still gets fed!

What makes a site difficult to serve?

A site becomes difficult to serve when the venue steps in and starts dictating how food service should run. They may have the space, but they don't have the kitchen or food service experience to back it up β€” and that gap matters. We take real pride in what we do, and our goal is always for the event to be a success for everyone involved.

What do you need from us on the day?

On our end, we're looking for a clear, level space to park. We'll also need someone reachable by phone as we arrive, so we can be guided into the right spot to set up.

Can you serve indoors, or do you need to be outside?

We can absolutely bring the food inside for you. That said, most of the time fire code requires ventilation to be inside or cooking from electric. It's something we can figure out if needed!

Who handles permits and venue approvals?

Absolutely happy to clarify! Permits and venue approvals are handled by the host. We can provide licensing and proof of insurance, but we do not pull event permits or pay venue costs on behalf of a host.

Do you need power or water hookups?

No β€” once we're parked, we're fully self-sufficient. No power or water hookups needed.

How much space do you need to set up?

Space needs vary by setup: trucks typically require 40ftx10ft, while trailers need 50ftx10ft. That said, once the truck is in position, it can detach from the trailer to reduce its footprint.

Can you serve at a school, park, venue, or private property?

Absolutely β€” we're fully mobile and can bring the truck right to your location.

Events

What kinds of events do you cater?

We cater events of all sizes and styles. If you need great food, we would love to help!

What kind of event are you the best fit for?

We're not fussy about event type β€” any event with great food is the right fit for us. What matters most is the food and the experience we deliver for hosts and guests.

What's the most memorable event you've done?

We've served every kind of event out there β€” weddings, country super-stars, professional athletes β€” but nothing quite compares to the first time you see your dream come to life and drive that truck out for its very first job. Those early experiences, right when you're just starting out, are memories we'll never forget.

Is there a minimum guest count?

There's no minimum guest count on our end - what we do have is a minimum spend.

What size events can you handle?

We can handle events of all sizes. For smaller parties we send one truck, and for larger parties we've sent as many as 17 trucks. It really depends on your vision for the event.

The unexpected

What if you run out of food?

We plan food for the exact guest count you give us up front β€” no more, no less. That's why an accurate guest count matters: it's what keeps us from running out. As a mobile kitchen, we don't carry the extra fridge and freezer space to hold surplus product should your guest count run higher than expected. On the flip side, should your guest count come in lower than anticipated, all the leftovers are yours to keep.

What do hosts most often forget to ask?

Dietary restrictions. Accommodating your guests isn't hard if we know up front, but once the kitchen introduces gluten and half your guests are GF, it's hard to decontaminate/eliminate the gluten with 100% certainty.

What happens if you're delayed getting to the venue?

Being mobile, this can happen should there be a bad accident blocking traffic. That said, while it's few and far between, we're happy to stay late to make sure everyone gets fed. Accidents aren't our fault or your fault, but we want to make sure you get everything you paid for.

What happens if more guests show up than we told you?

There is a chance we run out of food. Its good practice to overestimate by 10-15% to make sure everyone gets fed.

What's your plan if the weather turns bad?

We show up rain, snow, wind, or shine. We can always pack things in to-go containers.

Proof & trust

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. All our teams hold a health license and insurance.

What makes you different from other caterers?

As much as we would love to say we serve better food - the truth is our other food truck friends serve great food too, we just believe ours is superior. Our differentiating factor is our communication. We answer the phone at all times, respond to emails at all hours and text you back. We leave no channel left unresponded to.

Can you provide insurance or vendor documentation?

We can provide that when requested. Please note on COI's our agents can take up to 7 days. We are unable to change our policies for events.

How long have you been doing this?

We've been at this since 2016, starting with our first truck and steadily growing and refining our operation ever since. Let us know how we can serve you!

Why should we book you?

As owner-operators, we know food truck service inside and out. We're not just caterers β€” we're your co-hosts for the event. We'll be upfront about what our trucks can and can't do, so you're never misled about what's possible.

Where you serve

Why do you need the exact event address?

We can't put together a quote without knowing exactly where we're headed β€” mileage is one of the biggest cost drivers for us, so the event address is essential to giving you accurate pricing.

Can you serve nearby towns outside the main city?

Absolutely β€” we're a mobile operation, so we can come to you wherever that may be!

Where do you serve?

We cater private parties across a wide service area. Reach out today β€” we have a team ready and able to serve you.
