Under HB 771 (effective April 18, 2017), Maryland has health reciprocity — a food-truck health permit or inspection issued by any Maryland jurisdiction is accepted statewide. Fire permits are issued locally.

In Cloverly, health is licensed by Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services and fire permitting is set locally by Montgomery County Department of Permitting Services / Fire Code Compliance.

If your event requires permitting, you'll work directly with Montgomery County.
