Under HB 2844 (effective July 1, 2026), Texas has health and fire reciprocity — a food-truck health permit or fire inspection issued by any Texas jurisdiction is accepted statewide.

In Mission Bend, health is overseen by Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and fire by Mission Bend's fire authority — the local authorities whose permits and inspections Texas recognizes statewide.

If your event requires permitting, you'll work directly with Mission Bend.

Licensing and insurance documentation is confirmed for the catering team assigned to your booking and can be shared with your venue on request.
